California Vacation

We went to California for Ben's graduation on Friday.

Every square inch of the campus was filled with chairs and people.

On Saturday, we went to the Newport Beach Temple. It's very small but very beautiful.

Then we went to the beach!

Monday, we went to California Adventure at Disneyland. It was a fun filled day :)

Dad took this picture just after the river rafting ride. We were all wet. Notice the wolf rock formation in the background.

I loved this "zoetrope". There are 18 small statues in various poses. When the whole thing spins and the strobe light is on, it looks like they're animated.

Ben, Goofey and the birthday boy. They gave dad a pin that said "Happy Birthday Floyd". Every park employee, all day, wished him a Happy Birthday.

Tuesday, we went to a Dodger's baseball game. That's a first for me!

Day of the Wedding

Three days after we got home from California, we had a wedding reception here for a friend. The carpet layers worked 14 hours the day before, to get the carpet layed.

It was a beautiful wedding reception :)

A half hour before the reception ended, it started to rain. Everything was moved inside, but there was more than enough room to fit all the relatives and guests. They just set up the refreshments on the kitchen bar and kept serving :)
