We're Making Progress

Tyler and dad hauled in the new oven today so dad could get his car back in the garage. Now it's in the kitchen----sort of :)

Oven-less

It's been a week since the oven died. It was going to cost $540 to fix and that wasn't going to happen. So, dad bought a new double wall oven that's been in the back of the truck in the garage for about 5 days now. Dad and Tyler haven't had time to install it yet---they've been too busy with Tyler's house. Melece and I have just about fixed everything we know that doesn't use an oven. I finally got out the old toaster oven this morning to use for tonight's dinner :)

Weekend Visit

Last weekend I had all 7 grandkids here at the same time! Here's grandma holding Livi :)

This is a Roman shade I'm working on for Tyler and Melece's new house. I had to make a place to iron them out flat by covering 2 cardboard cutting boards with canvas.

The valance isn't on this one yet.

I came home from work today to find my bedroom door "heart attacked" by Josh (with a little help from his mom :)

Here's the birthday boy! Grandpa saved the day by bringing home this cake from the bakery. My oven died yesterday, so Melece couldn't bake anything today.

It was a goood cake!
