Welcome Baby Frederick!

I had the opportunity to go spend a week with Ben, Carrie, Gabriel and new baby, Frederick. We were all snuggles this morning.
New baby and an e-book----it doesn't get much better than this!
Proud dad and his boys :)

Food Show 2013

We went to the Associated Food, food show at the Salt Palace today.  Here's dad talking with some bakery vendors.  It's always fun to see and "taste" the displays :)
The Bakery dept. is the best!

These giant blow up tomatoes were in the middle of the vendors.  There's a giant potato on the flatbed trailer in the background.
This was our collection of freebies from the show.  The wooden dowels on the right on the bar are doughnut frying turners----or whatever they're called. And the flat plastic triangles (on the Pillsbury mitts) and odd shaped things by the bags are for smoothing frosting :)

Now that's something you don't see everyday.....in your back yard!

It's not unusual to see deer in our yards, but this is the first time I've seen the buck.  They are still eating everything in sight and leaving droppings everywhere!

Lee's Holiday Food Show

They showcased the new Artisan bread from the Bakery at the food show. Just getting set up in this picture.  There were 8 different breads to sample.  I bought a loaf of White Chocolate Chip Cranberry bread---yumm!!
Tyler designed and programed these bread boards at work.  Lee's ordered 8 for each store.

Halloween 2012

I stopped at the store right after work to take a picture of Floyd, but I just missed him.  By the time I got home, this is the best I could get.  He said the funniest part was watching people "get a clue" as they "got" his costume.  Halloween is "donut day from Hell" at the bakery. They work all night and all day to keep up with the sales.
Spiderman and Ninjas from next door :)

Grandma's 80th birthday

We celebrated grandma's 80th birthday with a dinner on Oct. 27th.  We had 55 family members come from all over.  It was fun to visit!
Melece made the funnest table decorations with items grandma likes!

Pioneer Day Fun!

The Fam waiting for the parade to start.
Lynn G. "drove" his plane in the parade.  The banner on the end says,"who needs a runway?"
David wore a book in the parade to advertise for the Library.  Josh walked with him as his favorite character---Jedi.
The parade had just barely ended when we saw Lynn's plane in the air!
They had a climbing wall at the park this year along with a dunking machine and bounce house. Josh did pretty good!
Jake wasn't so sure about the whole thing, but had fun trying.
Around the corner, behind Jones', they had a mud obstacle course.  Tyler and Josh had a great time!

That's what dads are for :)

Father and son bonding.  It's a guy thing :)
